Have to honestly admit that I did not have much time to update this blog. 

So many inquiries and lot's of work around the car yard kept me busy. 

At the same time, I visited South Island to meet with our long term partners from Magnum Compliance in Christchurch. 
You can find a video interview with Jeff below. 

Also I visited Autorama Compliance in Wellington, will make a post about it later. 

Also want to say a very heartful Thank You for all of our customers who already imported their cars with us. 

Tony imported his Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. 
Top spec TX Limited edition, 4WD, 2.7L.
It cost us around $19800 to import one. 
Market price starting from $25,000.

Warren imported his 3.5L Nissan Murano 350XV, 4WD, 2008.

For all of our Canterbury customers. Magnum Compliance is the place from where you will be picking up your car after it arrives from Japan. 
It was a very busy couple of weeks at the car yard. 

We sold around 25 cars, which is quite good for a winter season. 

Unfortunately did not have enough time to document all what was happening on importing front. 

On importing front: we bought 8 cars for customers. Half of the them were from out of Auckland - we had a couple from Christchurch, and Wellington and one in Nelson. 

Also as always many customers from Auckland ordering their cars. 

I think many people hurry to buy the car now, while exchange rate is still favourable.

We had customers who came to pick up their cars. 

Anthony came with partner to pick up Toyota Mark X 250G 2006, done 85800kms. Very good auction grade 4.5B. 
Cost was around $9300.
Car was complied, serviced, groomed, registered and we arranged a 1 year mechanical warranty.

Miraj came to pick up his car:
Mitsubishi Outlander G 4WD, 2006, 87500 kms. Good auction grade 4BC.
Car look great, nice alloys, rear spoiler, tinted windows etc.. 
Cost was around $11900.

Miraj also applied for 1 year mechanical warranty and we done compliance, service, registration and grooming.

Yesterday Nissan Murano arrived. Warren is coming to collect it this weekend. Unfortunately I am leaving to Wellington this afternoon and would not be able to meet him. 

But can tell you about his car. 
It's a top spec one: Nissan Murano 350XV 4WD 2008. Good auction grade 4B.
Car look great with nice alloys, two sun roofs, roof rails, rear spoiler, tinted windows, chromed finishings, and nice full leather interior etc...
Cost is around $22500!





   


Yesterday we had Tarans father who came to pick up Toyota Lexus IS350.
Car looks and drives great being 3.5L.

Yesterday we have bought Toyota Prado which will cost around $20 000 NZD to import. 
It's 2004 Land Cruiser Prado 
5D 4WD TX-LTD, 2.7L petrol, and done 159 kms. 

It's by $6000 cheaper then buying here and also it's hard to find 4WD in NZ. 
So we believe it's a very good deal.

We have bought Subaru Legacy Wagon 2007,2.0GT Speck B 4WD. 
Auction Grade 4.5BB!

Going to cost around $11500 to import.

  
On Trade Me same GTB go for $15 000 and with over 150kms! 

So it's a $4000 savings here, plus low mileage which is simply not available in NZ. 



Lot's of things have happened in a last couple of days. 

We have bought 6 new cars for customers.

4 customers came to picked their arrived cars. 

New shipment with even more cars have arrived from Japan and cars are being delivered to the compliance.

Alpesh came to pick up his Toyota Prius which he is going to convert into Taxi. He also shared some of his thoughts about importing.

About his Prius:
2010 in white color done 88 671 kms. Very good auction grade 4.5BB.
Car look great, nice alloys, very tidy being grade 4.5.  
And total cost to import was around $10 000 NZD only. 


Jaydev is sharing his story about importing Toyota Mark X 
Toyota Prius - going to be a Taxi car - Alpesh story 
We have received Toyota Mark X from compliance, already serviced, groomed and registered. Jaydev is coming to pick it up tomorrow. We also done a 3 year Mechanical Warranty Maxi Cover for him. 

About the car: Toyota Mark X 2007, 250 GL Package, in black color, done only 54 876 kms. Good auction grade 4B. Spent around 13K! 

If you noticed the plate number have got triple six 666 numbers. Jaydev called me today telling he liked the number and thinks it's cool, but his girlfriend is a bit concerned because of religious meaning. He was wondering is he can change the number or wait off his gf urge.

We fitted a new stereo in one of our customer cars. They wanted a NZ Stereo with GPS. You can see on the pics, it looks nice. 

Many people asking about stereo, they say it coming with Japanese language stereo can we have it English. Yes we can certainly do it for you. You will get a brand new year 2015 stereo with all current features like Bluetooth, MP3, AUX, USB, DVD, GPS etc...  
It's even better then factory one and we use professional third party company who send us technician and they do the job on our site, without the car leaving.

So if you ever worried about Japanese stereo, don't, just small portion of the saved money for the brand new stereo. 


Today we have bought another car for Gavin. One of his friends imported a car through us 2 years ago, and now we happy to see Gavin importing his car as well. 

About the car: Toyota Corolla Runx X, 2004 and done only 23 028kms! Auction grade is 4BB. And total cost to import will be around $7000 NZD. 

On Trade Me with mileage like 50kms this they sell for around $8500, so it's a $1500 saving. And Gavin car have got twice as less miles. 

In his case it's more like an investment, because he will not loose money at all. When selling this car after 2-3 years, with around 60kms he is looking to get his money back.

This is one of the advantages of importing, you get low mileage car for less and protected from depreciation when changing your car. 
Today two customers came to collect their cars. 
John from Katikati came to pick Toyota Blade which he bought for his wife Katherine. 
Toyota Blade G 2007 in wine color, 2.4L, done 24 607kms. Good auction grade 4CC. Total spent $10K.
 They requested car to serviced during compliance and groomed and registered. He was very happy with the car, condition wise it was more like 4BB, not 4CC.

Then we had a South Korean family who came to pick up BMW 320i. The requested car to be serviced, opt out from grooming. They were very happy with the car and no wonder. They have spent around 11500 NZD and imported 2008 High Line 320i in black color, 2L with 67kms, full leather interior.  Good auction grade 4BC. It's a real bargain.

We had a local builder who came to look into opportunity of importing presentable car for his new career in real estate. Initially he had a BMW 3 series in mind, but after seeing MarkX closed his options in favour of MarkX.

I went to see our groomers after work. They were working on Toyota Prius which we imported for the Alpesh. It's going to be a new Taxi, so we done COF for this one instead of WOF. 
More about Prius and MarkX is coming. 
Mondays are busy with finalising sales which we made over weekend, registering cars and giving them to the owners. 
On importing front, we almost finished compliance for 6 customer cars arrived from Japan last week and very soon here will be more pictures and even video interviews about those cars too.

Sunday is a blessed day, it's a day off for all of us at Ultimate Motors have rest. No phone calls, no emails - almost start missing them by the end of Sunday :) 

Well, nothing much happened, but I want to share a "Rolling and yawning ponies video" with you :) My neighbours have ponies and they look funny when covered in horse cloth and stained by mud. 
When it's getting too hot they roll on the ground to relieve the itch and I don't know why they yawning lol
Today was a busy day with customers coming to buy cars from the car yard. Also three customers visited me about importing car from Japan. Miraj came to check the timing for his Misti Outlander - ship arriving tomorrow, so he got updates what's next: we agreed on car to be serviced and groomed and 1 or 3 year Mechanical Warranty. Two other customers came to inquire about importing, Kostya wants 2011 1.5L Honda Fit for his wive - will cost up to $10k to import. And then farther came with his daughter to import Toyota Runx 2006 with low kms, will be around $8K. 

Yesterday we have bought new car for Paul - Nissan Murano 350XV model,  2006, done 42 050kms only, full leather interior etc. High Auction grade 4.5B.  All up cost will be around $14k! 
Just been to compliance center this morning. There are 6 customer cars arrived and going through compliance process. 
We have BMW320 left there and Prius, Wish, Lexus IS350, Mark X.
During compliance car is getting inspected by independent VTNZ inspectors and they make sure car is up to NZ road standards. You can see they check the drive train or the car. In next post I will show you how they strip the car. Not exactly pleasant scene but they are professional and doing great job to make sure car is up to highest standard before putting it on the road. All cars we have imported to date have passed compliance, without exception.  

You can see the four page list on the wall. This is all our cars going through this particular compliance during this months. We are working with 5 more compliance. So you would imagine we have a good trade rates with them, and it's cheaper for you to comply cars when you import with us.

John from Auckland bought it for his wife.

Toyota Blade G 2007 in wine color, 2.4L, done 24 607kms. Good auction grade 4CC. Few minor scratches on the rear and front bumper - he've decided not to paint because they hardly seen. Going to install stereo though.
 
All up cost is under 10K. 
Was driving to work when saw a transporte truck next to the compliance center. These guys know how to transport cars. With all of this volume of cars pumping in, transport companied buying Hi-Tech transporting vehicles and can move cars in 45 degrees position no probs lol
